Is rain truly good luck on your wedding day? While I am not too sure if that’s true or not, Emily and Daniel’s wedding day is proof that when you embrace the rain rather than dread it – you’ll be rewarded with unparalleled romance.
There’s no words to fully encompass how wonderful of a couple Em and Dan were. When Emily came to me dreaming of a fall wedding with soft pastel florals, I immediately knew we would be best friends. During the design process we focused on pulling a rainbow of naturally colored flowers to compliment a neutral table setup. The clear, crystal vases and candle holders allowed for the warm candle light to reflect boldly creating a romantic scene at Sassafras Springs Vineyard.
Emily went above and beyond with her details. Replica Maison Margiela perfume, satin pink kitten heels, ruffled and detachable sleeves, all paired with her ripped-edge invitation suite and pearl drop earrings made this entire love story ooze effortless luxury. Did I happen to mention all of her wedding food was entirely vegan? Talk about sticking to who you are.
If you cannot tell by now, I am gushing over this wedding day. You’ll also notice I make no mention of the pouring rain that ruined her idea of an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour. That’s because she embraced it. Emily looked at the rain and said ‘cool’ and moved right along with throwing an epic celebration of her and Daniel’s love story. Ending the night with Taylor Swift’s ‘Long Live’ after tearing up the dance floor to her entire discography, Emily and Daniel walked away as one of the best wedding days of 2023.
